Physician Breastfeeding Resources Roundtable Report
For Physicians: Physician Breastfeeding Resources: COMING FALL 2024. This 50-page full-colour resource will include best practices learned and put in place by Penticton Regional Hospital and Penticton Health Centre who achieved Baby-Friendly Initiative (BFI) designation in April 2024. It also will be a primer on the upcoming Breastfeeding Care Pathway on BC Pathways. The last three sections are on antenatal breastfeeding discussions, a 0-72 hours breastfeeding reference, and a postpartum guide to low milk supply. This resource will be a must-have for all physicians as well as will be valuable to other health care providers supporting mothers to breastfeed. KCR and IH Resource; multiple authors across Interior Health and KCR.
