For Moms

How Often Should My Baby Eat?

What is a good latch?

Is my baby getting enough to eat?

HALO® Bassinests project: HALO® Bassinests are cots designed to keep parents and babies close in hospital settings. Six were purchased for Penticton Regional Hospital and 1 for Royal Inland Hospital (Kamloops) to trial their use. Health care providers and mothers were surveyed in two separate trials regarding usage and outcomes of the bassinests. Benefits included increased patient satisfaction, easier access for moms to their babies for breastfeeding when babies show early feeding cues, focus on family centered care, and potentially improved safe sleep practices.
